In short

Loqui runs in its own window next to Zoom on your Mac. It listens to the Zoom audio and your microphone separately and shows you answers, questions, and nudges during the call. It doesn’t join the meeting and doesn’t need a Zoom app or plugin.

How to set up Loqui for Zoom

  1. Open Loqui and allow microphone access when prompted.
  2. In System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen & System Audio Recording, turn on System Audio Recording Only for Loqui.
  3. Confirm that everyone on the call knows you’re using Loqui, then click Start coaching.
  4. Join your Zoom call as usual.

From then on, your microphone is “Me” and the Zoom audio is “Customer.” Headphones give you the cleanest split, because sound from your speakers can’t leak back into the mic.

What you see during the call

A slim bar sits at the top center of your screen with the time, your talk ratio, and the latest suggestion. When the prospect raises an objection or asks a direct question, an answer card opens below it with a line you can say right away and the source from your docs. Press Option-Space anytime to ask Loqui yourself: “What should I say?”

Questions.

Do I need to install anything in Zoom?

No. Loqui uses your Mac’s microphone and system audio permissions. Nothing changes in Zoom itself.

Can other people on the call see Loqui?

No. Loqui doesn’t join the meeting and doesn’t show up when you share your screen. Only you see the suggestions.

Does it work with Zoom in the browser?

Yes. Loqui listens to your Mac’s system audio, whether you run Zoom as an app or in the browser.

Do I need consent to use an AI assistant on Zoom calls?

Loqui doesn’t join the meeting or store recordings, but it does send call audio to OpenAI for live transcription. Laws on listening to or transcribing calls vary by state, and some states, including California, require consent from everyone on the call. Tell participants you’re using an AI assistant; Loqui asks you to confirm this before each session. This isn’t legal advice, so check the rules that apply to you.

The right answer, live on the call.

The call coach that listens in and shows you the answer from your own docs, right when you need it.
